Micro Solutions was started in 1986 and originally specialized in applications and solutions for the Environmental Engineering industry. By 1991, Micro Solutions was a major reseller of UNIX business systems on the West Coast. By 1993 we were certified by both Oracle and SAP, and we have enjoyed a relationship of many years with both companies as an infrastructure partner. In 1996 Micro Solutions selected IBM as our strategic hardware partner, and we have earned the coveted status of Premier Partner with IBM every year since 2001.

In 2008 we launched our Healthcare Systems practice, focusing on privacy, security and clinical applications as well as IT infrastructure. In 2009 we formed our Digital Media practice, specializing on solutions to facilitate digital archiving, media file storage and IT solution design.

Our firm is headquartered in Thousand Oaks, California and our Northern California sales office is located in San Francisco.
